Delivery TimescalesDelivery timescales vary according to product type. Taps, showers, waste kits and all metal bathroom accessories are generally delivered within 2 to 5 working days. Baths are generally delivered within 5 to 15 working days. Individual products may show different delivery timescales in their product description. All delivery timescales are subject to availability. You will receive an order confirmation by email confirming the delivery timescales for your order. If you have critical deadlines please ring in advance of ordering to confirm delivery timescales. We always advise that you do not book a plumber or fitter until all your goods have arrived and been checked.Multiple DeliveriesClassical Baths reserves the right to choose the most cost effective form of delivery. In some cases this may mean that some of your products arrive at different times, for example if ordering taps and a bath your taps may arrive before the bath as a separate consignment. In all cases your order confirmation will clarify the delivery schedule.Delivery CostsUnless otherwise stated orders of less than £100 will incur an £8 delivery charge. For all other orders delivery to mainland UK addresses is free unless stated otherwise for specific items and except for deliveries of the PARIS range of baths to postcodes PL-TQ-EX-KW-IV-AB-PA-DD-PH-FK & KY which will be subject to a £65 carriage charge.Delivery of Heavy and/or Bulky GoodsPlease note that all deliveries will be by a single driver and the customer will, where heavy and/or bulky goods are being delivered, be required to provide assistance unloading the vehicle. For such deliveries please ensure that an able bodied person is available to assist in unloading. In all cases delivery is to ground floor only.Receiving Deliveries and Checking GoodsYou agree to fully unwrap and check all items for damage in transit within 48hrs of delivery. In the case of large items, e.g. baths, you agree to check the goods for visible transit damage before signing the drivers delivery note. If you sign for the goods then you are accepting that the goods arrived without any obvious external damage and subsequent claims for such damage will not be considered (writing 'unchecked' or similar on the delivery note does not change this in any way). If the driver refuses to wait while you check the delivery then you should refuse to accept delivery and call Classical Baths on 0113 2360214 or email sales@classicalbaths.co.uk to inform us. Any visible damage or defects in the products supplied or any delivery shortages must be reported to us within 48hrs of receipt of the goods.Damaged or Defective GoodsNotification of visibly damaged or defective goods must be made within 48hrs of delivery unless otherwise stated. All travertine products must be inspected for significant damage in transit at the point of delivery before they are signed for. If for any reason goods cannot be checked within this timescale you must notify us and seek our agreement before placing your order. If you have notified us of damaged or defective goods we will at our option either make good any shortage or non-delivery, repair or replace any goods found to be damaged or defective on delivery or refund to you the amount paid for the goods in question.LiabilityClassical Baths will not be liable for any loss, inconvenience, disappointment, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem in relation to the goods and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund made under these conditions. Classical Baths shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in delivery or any damage or defect to goods supplied that is caused by any events or circumstance beyond our reasonable control. This does not effect your statutory rights.PricingIn the event of errors in pricing on the web site we will not be bound to honour any orders made at that price. All prices shown on the web site are inclusive of VAT.Payment and TitleTitle to the goods shall not pass to the buyer until payment of all monies has been received by Classical Baths.ReturnsReturns will only be accepted if they are returned with their original packaging intact and in the exact same condition as they were dispatched. You must not write on the product packaging as this will render them in a condition that means they cannot be resold. You should add a further layer of packaging and write the return address on this. All returns are subject to a restocking charge of 20% of the value of the goods excluding carriage costs. Carriage costs will not be refunded, even in the case where delivery is described as free there is a carriage cost incurred by Classical Baths and this cost will not be refunded. In the case of brassware (taps, showers, waste kits and towel warmers) this cost is £8 in all other cases the cost is £65. Where another delivery cost is shown on your invoice, e.g. for delivery of fragile goods or for delivery of some producst to Scotland and the South West, this cost is in addition to the £8 or £65 delivery costs for brassware and larger items.Where discounts have been applied to entire orders these will be apportioned proportionally between all the products on the invoice and takenn into consideration when giving refunds for returned or cancelled goods. CancellationsTo cancel an order, you must inform Classical Baths by email or phone within seven working days from the day after the goods are received. Classical Baths are under no legal obligation to accept cancellations after this period.GuaranteesAll guarantees alluded to on the Classical Baths web site are manufacturer's guarantees and are passed on to you in good faith but we do not endorse them and they form no part of the contract between yourself and Classical Baths. In the event that the manufacturer becomes insolvent the guarantee will be lost. |
