Traditional Freestanding Taps

If you are buying a traditional freestanding roll top bath then your bath will either have a tap platform or not. A tap platform is an area on the rim of the bath where the roll of the roll top is flattened allowing tap holes to be drilled and taps to be attached. Traditional roll top baths without a tap platform cannot have taps mounted on the edge of the bath leaving the options of wall mounted or freestanding taps.

Fortunately, for free-standing taps your choices are quite straightforward because almost any of the traditional bath mixers shown on this site have been desinged so that they can be straightforwardly mounted on standpipes. The traditional standpipes we stock come in two sizes, 660mm and 700mm, and can be supplied in chrome, antique gold and a variety of other gold and nickel finishes. It is important to make sure you get the right height standpipes for your bath, but we will always check your order to make sure you get the right combination.

For further information or advice about traditional freestanding taps and standpipes don't hesitate to call us on 0113 2360214.
