Minimalist Freestanding Taps

When you buy a free standing bath, you may have a number of options for how you mount your taps. Some freestanding baths have a tap platform, that is, a particular part of the bath rim that is flattened specifically for the purpose of mounting taps. Where a bath does not have a tap platform it may still be possible, especially with flat top baths, to have taps mounted on the rim of the bath, however your other options are to mount your taps on the wall or to have them mounted on standpipes.

Fortunately, for free-standing taps your choices are quite straightforward because almost any of the contemporary baths taps and bath mixers shown on this site have been designed so that they can be straightforwardly mounted on standpipes. Mono standpipes are available for use with mixers that would normally require a single hole in the rim of the bath. Minimalist style bath shower mixers usually come with a wall mounting to hold the shower when not in use, when you buy minimalist standpipes an integral, but optional, bracket is included that can be used to mount your hand held shower on the side of the standpipes.

For further information or advice about contemporary and minimalist freestanding taps and standpipes don't hesitate to call us on 0113 2360214.
