Waste Kit Compatibility For Victoria and Albert Baths

Use this page to find waste kits for Victoria and Alberts baths. The table below shows all Victoria and Albert baths listed alphabetically and which Victoria and Albert waste kits they are each compatible with. Although other waste kits may fit V&A baths, for peace of mind and ease of fitting, we recommend that you choose a genuine compatible Victoria and Albert waste kit.

Glossary

Chain

A traditional chain and plug where the plug fits into the overflow when not in use. The V&A kit also includes a shallow trap.

Pop Up

Turn dial on overflow to pop up plug turn back to pop it down again.

Push Control

Also called a click-clack or sprung plug waste - push in to close, push again to open, includes a convex chrome overflow cover and shallow trap.

Concealed

The V&A concealed wastes are suitable where waste kit pipework on the outside of the bath will not be visible (these pipes are then unchromed metal or plastic).

Exposed

The exposed wastes should be used when the waste kit pipework on the outside of the bath will be visible, all this pipework is then chrome (or gold).

Trap

All Victoria and Albert waste kits include a shallow trap.

Stand Pipes

Chrome pipes used to cover waterfeeds for freestanding taps, i.e. no tap holes in the bath and not mounted on the edge of the bath.

Pipe Shrouds

Chrome sleeves used to cover the water feeds to taps mounted on the edge of the bath through tap holes in the bath.

VKIT1

A complete exposed kit for a bath with tap holes. The kit includes a waste pipe + pipe shrouds in chrome and a chrome V&A chain waste kit including trap.

VKIT3

A complete exposed kit for a bath with tap holes. The kit includes a waste pipe + pipe shrouds in chrome and a chrome V&A push control waste kit including trap.

*When fitting a trap under the Marlborough bath it may be necessary to cut a hole in the floor to ensure a fit. For this reason the Marlborough may not be suitable for bathrooms with a solid floor.
