Compatible Waste Kits for the Kensington 1755 Double Ended Bath with Gloss Black Exterior
These are the waste kits we recommend for the Kensington 1755 traditional double ended bath. In the majority of installations of this bath the bath is close to a wall so that the overflow pipe will not be visible. In cases like this you should choose a concealed waste kit which will have a plastic overflow pipe. Two suitable concealed waste kits are shown below. If your bath is away from the wall then you will need an exposed waste kit. This includes the overflow pipe, trap and outlet waste pipe as well as all the fittings associated with them all in chrome. We show four exposed waste kits here, two each for baths with or without tap holes.
Each waste kit has an explanation above of it of the circumstances in which you would use this waste kit with the Kensington 1755 traditional freestanding bath with gloss black exterior. Each exposed kit has everything you need for the installation described. If using a concealed waste kit your plumber will expect to supply a plastic trap and outlet pipe.
Concealed Waste Kits: for when your bath will be close to the wall so that the pipework on the outside of the bath will not be visible
This Burlington luxury concealed waste kit, shown below, should be used when the overflow pipe will not be seen. This will usually only be the case if your bath is within a couple of inches of a wall on the overflow side of the bath. This Burlington waste kit includes a branded ceramic white insert giving a more decorative overflow cover.
Exposed Waste Kits: for when the bath is away from the wall so that the pipework is visible
This EA368 complete roll top bath exposed waste kit from Hudson Reed is intended to be used with baths that have taps mounted though tap holes on the edge of the bath and where the overflow pipework will be visible. So the kit includes a pair of pipe shrouds to cover the water feeds going from the floor to the tap as well as all the waste kit plumbing in chrome.
The W4EA368 waste kit is intended to be used with baths that have taps mounted though tap holes on the edge of the bath and where the overflow pipe will be visible. So it includes pipe shrouds to cover the water feeds going from the floor to the tap. It also includes the same trap and outlet waste pipe as the EA368 but has the more decorative Burlington plug and chain waste for that bit of extra luxury.
This kit, the W4EA366 is the luxury kit to use when your taps will be wall mounted or freestanding and the overflow pipework will be visible. In this case pipe shrouds to cover water feeds to the taps are not required. It's identical to the EA368 above but without the pipe shrouds and with the luxury Burlington plug and chain waste kit with its extra traditional style detailing.

We can ship to all European countries and to most mainland European addresses including non-EU countries like Switzerland.
The main restriction to addresses that we can ship to in these countries are accessibility for the large articulated lorries on which our palletised overseas deliveries are made. If you have a doubts contact us with your address and we will let you know if we can delivery to you.
The cost of delivery varies greatly across the EU and not always how you might expect. The price for shipping a bath to a mainland address varies from about £90 to about £300. To get a rough idea have a look at the lists of example prices on the overseas shipping page , but to get a proper price email us your country and postcode (or full address if the Republic of Ireland) and we will send you a quote in just a few short hours.
We deliver to most of Europe in 10 to 15 working days, For western Europe we may be much quicker and for some eastern european countries it may take a little longer.
For smaller items such as taps and metal shower parts we usually ship by UPS and once dispatched from us we email you a tracking link where you can follow its progress on either a next day or 2 to 5 day delivery.
For larger and heavier consignments including baths, WC's, basins etc. we ship overseas on pallets. Delivery is by a large articulated lorry to the nearest public access point that is accessible. The local carriers who do the last leg of the delivery will ring you in advance to book in the delivery for a specific day. You need enough person power to move your delivery into your property. We keep an eye on the whole process to make sure you get a quality service every step of the way and we are constantly available to answer any queries you have.
The short story is yes we can, it can cost up to double what similar onshore deliveries may cost and take an extra 5 to 7 days than would an equivalent mainland delivery. The longer story is that for some of our least expensive baths where the profit level in the bath is low then way may decline shipments where the cost of shipping is very high. We have to have a reasonable ratio between the profit in the sale and the cost of shipping. Ring us on 0113 2360214 or email us with your details and we can confirm if we can do it and get you a quote.
Yes, this is no problem, you will not have to pay UK VAT but you may have to pay local import taxes, however this is easily done and we can advise on all matters relating to this kind of thing.
Our overseas bath and ceramics deliveries are made by large articulated lorries so the answer I'm afraid is no. Maybe in 20 years drone technology will have advanced to the point where you can have your bath delivered same day, but not yet. Whilst we wait for that glorious day perhaps we can find a local business who can take delivery on your behalf and who your builders/plumbers can then collect from?
We can usually help with things like this. Contact us on 0113 2360214 or at email@example.com with details to find out.
If you are a private citizen in the EU then you must pay UK VAT when buying from the UK. If you are buying on behalf of a VAT registered EU company then supply us with your company details and VAT number and you the do not have to pay VAT.
If you are outside of the EU including Switzerland then you do not have to pay UK VAT, so to find the price you will pay divide the price shown on the website by 1.2. For example, if an item costs £100 on the web site, you will pay 100/1.2 = £83.33. You may have to pay an import customs duty when the item is delivered to you and this will depend on your local national tax laws. We can help with any queries you have about this or anything else to do with shipments outside of the EU.
We Arrange a Delivery Schedule: We will contact you within 1 working day with a delivery schedule. For smaller orders (e.g. taps and waste kits) we will also email you a tracking link the day before delivery and for larger orders (baths, basins, WCs) we will ring you the day before delivery with an approximate delivery time.
We Get More Info if required: If your order includes a painted bath, painted basin or item of painted furniture we will contact you within 1 working day to confirm your chosen colour(s). We will not charge your card until we have confirmed your chosen paint colour.
We Expertly Check your Order: Our expert staff will check all the items in your order for compatibility and completeness. If we believe you may have ordered incompatible products, missed vital items out or included items that you may not need we will contact you to ensure we get your order right.
We Charge Your Card: Only when all the details of your order are confirmed will we charge your card and then email you an invoice/receipt.
If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to ring us on 0113 2360214 or email us.
The usual delivery time is about 3 to 5 working days for smaller items (e.g. taps, showers) and approximately 5 to 10 working days for larger orders (e.g. WCs, baths). For larger items once we know your postal area we can give you a choice of specific delivery days. If its urgent we can often deliver much more quickly, including with next day or 48 hour deliveries.
If your order includes a painted bath or nickel plated or bnrushed nickel tap this may add between 5 and 10 working days to your delivery timescale. Ring or email to ask for the latest lead times.
Our usual carriers deliver with a luton van or large transit van so they will get down most of the roads or lanes that a large car can get down.
For smaller items sent by UPS or royal mail you will get a tracking link but not a delivery time.
For deliveries of larger items with our usual carriers you get an approximate delivery time the working day before the delivery occurs, we can also have them ring you on the day when they are a short distance from you. If you need this add a note to your order in the checkout or ring us on 0113 2360214 or email us and let us know what you need.
